Crazier Answers
Why do some psychiatrists seem crazier then the patient? And why are they employed?
Q. About a third of the ones I have met seemed like they needed therapy themselves, a couple were heavily controlling, some very anxious and easily offended, some totally removed like they were on drugs. And others are kind and down to earth seeming happily mentally well. How did these quacks get in? I like the answers, I have no idea how to pick the best one, they all give me some insight. Thanks all.

A. I'm not sure about psychiatrists, but therapists have one of the highest rates of suicide.

what are some good ideas for a shy person to become crazier at school?
Q. im the type who dont really come up with the conversations, i just wait till the other person starts them, also, im very shy! i dont talk much, and all my friends say that i need to be crazier, but how do i??? helpp??? 10points for best answer

A. If you're trying to "become crazier" by striking up conversations, wait till you're actually in one and just bring up another conversation that relates to something similar. For example, if you're talking about how bad the food was at lunch that day, bring up a conversation about how bad the lunch was a different day (obviously, you wouldn't talk about something like this -- just an example). You really shouldn't worry too much about being shy. Chances are people don't see you that way.

Christians: do you experience peer pressure to experiment with even crazier religious beliefs?
Q. Like, say you re just an average Christian who believes and tries to follow most of the New Testament and looks at the Old Testament like the parent of a retarded child looks at their unfortunate offspring, but one day you find yourself mixing with a crowd of different Christians. These Christians take all the Christian dogma really seriously and think that those insane, barbaric Old Testament stories should be taken really seriously. These new Christian associates of yours pressure you into believing Christian dogma like they believe it; does this ever happen to you guys?

A. Any religion would be crazier than Christianity because Christianity is not crazy at all.

If you could create a religion, do you think you could make it crazier than ones that already exist?
Q. These mime questions have inspired me... I think I shall start a mime religion. The mime overlord Unex one day dropped white makeup and striped shirts on the earth and mimes arose from dirt, and those that sinned and spoke are now the human race. I think it would be readily accepted because people could trust us not to try and tell them about the religion, and if any followers annoy me I can just forget to tell them how to get out of their invisible box.

Is it true the weirder or crazier the dream, the more meaning it has?
Q. (and it's not drug, alcohol or food induced.) Some dreams seem to have a lot of hidden messages while others are fairly obvious.

A. I think yes -- your subconscious really wants to get a point across. I had some wacky ones last night, but I think that they were Vicodin induced (I'm nursing an injury). In the dreams, horrible things were happening and I was powerless.

Do you think modern technology has made our lives easier or crazier?
Q. We spend time working on computers at work then come home and spend hours blogging (well I guess most of us YA fans do). We are always contactable by mobile phones - I remember how nice it was to know no one could reach me now people have a panic attach when their mobiles go flat. Families don't spend much time doing things together. Interested in your thoughts. Thanks

A. There is always the choice to turn them off - pick up the msgs when your ready. Is it a sign of the 'must know' culture? Or are people frightened of a little silence and contemplation? Even when people aren't on the phone or the PC they are chatting physically or soaking up the news and soaps/reality tv. To be without demands they face themselves maybe? Scary!

A. They can't prove GW so now they call it climate change. Guess what? The climate Does change! Always has, always will... Obama was raised with a mentor as his father was elsewhere. This mentor was talked about extensively in his books but for some reason never divulged his name or the fact that he had extensive experience in Marxist policies in Kenya. And Obama admits he learned much from this man... I think the answer is clear...

Q. If you believe in religion over aliens please tell why and if you believe in aliens over religion please tell why or if you believe both please tell why. Now when I talking about person I mean these kind of people that believe that theres aliens visiting are planet those kind of people. There good people there not bad. I believe aliens over religion. I'm sorry really it just that religion is bad.

A. Since you worded your question very poorly I will try to do the best to respond. There is obviously planets out in our universe with intelligent life. I mean, the universe is so big it is just a statistical fact. That said, I do not believe that there are aliens that have visited our planet. To do so would almost certainly mean traveling faster than the speed of light which the theory of relativity says is impossible. Also, if aliens traveled to our planet I think they would do more than just hover in our atmosphere. Seems a big anticlimactic. I hope I have answered your question thoroughly.
